Polley Bumbling Beehives is owned and operated by Laura Polley.
Laura manages her hives with a focus on bee health and sustainability. The result is healthy colonies, raw local honey, beeswax products, and opportunities for people to experience beekeeping up close.
Education and community are an important part of her work. Laura mentors new beekeepers, helps coordinate bee-focused community events, supports youth programs, and serves as a state coordinator and mentor for Hives for Heroes, helping veterans learn beekeeping skills and build connection through the craft.
Laura is an Air Force veteran with a background in biology and years of experience working with people and solving problems. She brings both care and consistency to her apiary.
For Laura, beekeeping is about more than honey. It’s about supporting pollinators and sharing knowledge.
